Tuition & Scholarships

Each July, the University of Minnesota Board of Regents approves the tuition and fees for the upcoming year. Cost of attendance will vary for each student. Tuition rates are fees subject to change. See the OneStop links below for current tuition rates.

Full-Time Graduate

Full-Time Graduate student tuition is approximately $9,000 per semester for both residents and non-residents. In addition, there is a student services fee (approximately $480/semester), a Collegiate Fee (approximately $250/semester), and other University fees (approximately $235/semester).

Student Health Benefit

Students who are: 1) admitted to a degree program; and 2) registered for six or more credits per semester that count towards the automatic assessment of the Student Services Fee; are required by the University of Minnesota to have health insurance.
