Course Description

This course supports people working with groups, communities, or populations, to bring wellbeing practices to their environments of engagement. Students will collaborate with peers and instructors in the use of various practices and will leave the course with a foundation for community engaged work. Students will learn the basics of facilitation for community wellbeing - utilizing tools, skills, and practices introduced; for example: co-creating inclusive spaces, mindfulness based facilitation, trauma informed care skills, cultural literacy skills, and a toolkit for building inclusive communities.
