Course Description
This mentorship course offers students the opportunity to apply and deepen community wellbeing facilitation skills in real-world settings, supported by peer collaboration and faculty feedback/guidance. Students will be supported in their implementation of a community experience, for example; workshops, conversations, small events and focus groups.  Students are encouraged to focus on projects they are currently involved in, or come into the course with a project scaled for implementation during the course timeline. Students will also learn selected facilitation skills and peer-mentoring practices—including listening circles and other collaborative reflection forms to expand capacities when working in community wellbeing settings.

Students who have previously completed Whole Person Whole Community (CSPH 5118and/or Creating Connected Communities (CSPH 5000-02) are encouraged to build upon their existing action plan (5118) or facilitation designs (5000-02) and use this course as a space to implement and refine their identified project with ongoing feedback and community support.  Neither 5118 or 5000-02 are prerequisites, but having a concept is encouraged.
