Bio
Dr. Winkel is a post-doctoral associate/clinical researcher at the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Research Program at the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing at the University of Minnesota. She is also a fellow in the Integrative Health Research Fellowship Program. Prior to joining the research team, Dr. Winkel spent over a decade in clinical practice; she was also a clinical adjunct associate faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Winkel specializes in the the treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, specifically low back and neck pain, and headaches. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health with a focus of Community Health Promotion. In her spare time, Dr. Winkel enjoys reading and staying active through co-ed volleyball and exercising.
