Learn About Your Constitution

Note from Dr. Miriam Cameron and Dr. Tenzin Namdul:

Researchers have found that most of us are not good at assessing ourselves accurately. When conducting research on the CSAT and LGT, our research team found that the more the research participants knew about Tibetan medicine, the more likely they were to do an accurate CSAT.

Here are options to help you learn about Tibetan medicine and do an accurate CSAT:

Constitutional Self-Assessment Tool (CSAT)

The CSAT is based on Sowa Rigpa, the Tibetan knowledge of healing. Sowa Rigpa, commonly called Tibetan medicine, teaches that you, like everyone else, were born with a unique nature, called your constitution. The CSAT will help you understand your constitution and how to live in harmony with it.

Complete the Constitutional Self-Assessment Tool (CSAT)

The CSAT will open in a new window. Keep this window open so that you can refer to it when doing the LGT.

Lifestyle Guidelines Tool (LGT)

The LGT, also based on Sowa Rigpa, will help you to create a personal plan for living a happier, healthier life. By using the CSAT and LGT together, you will learn to use Sowa Rigpa for self-care and as part of integrative care.
