Can I go through the program at any pace I want?

While you can move through the program at your own pace, we recommend you move through it one week at a time, allowing a full week to absorb and practice each week's content before moving on to the next.

How much time will it take each week?

This course is six weeks in length, with a 30-minute orientation prior to the beginning of the course. You should expect to spend about 30-45 minutes per week completing the course content at your own pace, and 10-15 minutes per day on formal home practice.

Do I need any experience with mindfulness or meditation?

Not at all! We are excited to share mindfulness and meditation with you. We provide an introduction to mindfulness in the orientation and will build foundational skills week by week in the course.

I already meditate. Will this course be useful to me?

Absolutely! This course is about applying mindfulness at work. It uses mindfulness skills to help you develop presence; enhance your emotional regulation and ability to stay open and see new options in difficult situation; strengthen your capacity to cope with stress; and help you communicate more effectively and build stronger relationships in teams and communities.

How much will I need to practice?

During the six-week course, expect weekly course work to take 30-45 minutes per week to complete, and formal home practice of 10 minutes per day. We will also suggest skills to practice at work, but these will not take additional time out of your day.
