Mindful Mondays - Mindful Mondays are free virtual drop-in sessions. The Bakken Center’s experienced facilitators will guide you through a series of mindful movements and meditations. To increase the accessibility of Mindful Mondays, a recording is made available to all registrants for one week after the session concludes. Earn 200 wellbeing points per session.
Monthly Wellbeing Webinars - The Bakken Center offers free monthly wellbeing webinars on a variety of topics designed to help you take charge of your health and wellbeing. Earn 200 wellbeing points per webinar.
The Wellbeing Series - Since 2012, the Bakken Center has hosted wellbeing thought leaders to inspire and educate the community, organizations, and life-long learners through the Wellbeing Series. Earn 200 wellbeing points per webinar.
The Bakken Center has offered evidence-informed mindfulness programs for almost two decades. Our offerings are in-person and online.
Mindfulness at Work - Mindfulness at Work is a self-paced, experiential, completely online course designed to teach core mindfulness skills while also exploring specific applications to the workplace setting. Earn 1,200 wellbeing points for completing the program and passing 5 of 6 weekly quizzes in the program.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) - Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week, evidence-based, experiential program providing in-depth training in mindfulness meditation and movement practices, and how to integrate mindfulness into daily life. This program harnesses our inner resources and has been demonstrated to enhance emotional resilience. Earn 5,700 wellbeing points for completing at least 6 of the 8 program sessions plus the all day retreat and completing the final program evaluation.
Introduction to Mindfulness - Introduction to Mindfulness is a 4-week program or 1-day intensive that explores what mindfulness is (and isn’t) through direct experience and discussion. You’ll investigate different aspects of mindfulness and its implications for your life. Earn 1,200 wellbeing points for completing at least 3 of the 4 program sessions and the final program evaluation.
Mindfulness Retreats - The mindfulness meditation retreats provide an opportunity to step away from your daily routines and the busyness of everyday life to deepen, renew or inspire your mindfulness meditation practice. Mindful Mondays participants are welcome! Earn 600 wellbeing points for attending a mindfulness retreat.
Enhancing Personal Wellbeing & Resilience - In this four-part virtual series, you will learn practical evidence-informed approaches to help build your personal resilience and enhance your skills and confidence in bringing more wellbeing into your daily life, at work and at home. Earn 200 wellbeing points per workshop.
Nutritional Strategies to Support Mental and Cognitive Health - This three-part series of 75-minute online workshops includes information about three pillars of nutritional approaches to mental health: diet, micronutrients, and the microbiome. Earn 200 wellbeing points per workshop.
Online Therapeutic Yoga Series - The therapeutic yoga series offers a unique approach to yoga and is designed specifically for individuals seeking relief from specific patterns of dis-ease in both mind and body. Unlike regular group yoga classes at studios or gyms, this series focuses on creating ease and comfort by targeting specific areas of the body or patterns of the mind. Each series consists of four sessions, each lasting one hour. Earn 200 wellbeing points per session.
