Course Description

This is the culminating course of the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Coaching Master’s Program. This course includes coaching practice in the field and an evidence-informed project that demonstrates the students' understanding of the coaching profession. The internship experience offers students the opportunity to apply coaching skills in a professional setting and to develop and apply foundational skills in marketing, client recruitment and scheduling, and professional documentation. Capstone projects will be presented orally at the end of the semester. The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop and demonstrate master’s level skills in health and wellbeing coaching, researching, critical thinking, writing, and presenting. This course is conducted online with a blend of synchronous and asynchronous course activities.
