Cherie O’Neill, EdD, FACSM, NBC-HWC, PAPHS, CHWC
Dr. Cherie O'Neill is the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Health Coaching Programs Director at the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing and the former Owner and CEO of Wellness Coaching Elevated. She served on the NBHWC Blueprint Committee that wrote the new competencies for the profession and is a designated NBHWC Ambassador. In addition, she is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, she brings extensive experience across healthcare systems, education, and public health, and has contributed to the field as a co-author of the American Council on Exercise's The Professional's Guide to Health & Wellness Coaching and author of the Behavior Change Module for the Exercise is Medicine certification exam. Dr. O’Neill’s research areas include exercise in healthcare, health coach training, health coach efficacy, and ADHD.
Erin Erickson, DNP, MPH, MA, FNP-C, WHNP-BC, IFMCP, NBC-HWC
Dr. Erin Erickson is an integrative medicine nurse practitioner board-certified in women's health and family practice, a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP). She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Women's Health and a Master of Arts in Integrative Health and Wellbeing Coaching from the University of Minnesota, and brings extensive clinical experience in functional medicine, mind-body medicine, and health coaching to her work with students. She is also the co-founder and co-host of Mom Enough®, a parenting podcast with over 500 episodes and listeners in 30 countries.
Solange N. Monono, MS, NBC-HWC
Solange is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with expertise in chronic disease management and a deep commitment to advancing health equity and reducing health disparities in communities of color. Currently based at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center, she combines health education and health coaching to help individuals living with chronic illness improve their health outcomes through culturally competent, whole-person approaches that integrate nutrition, exercise, stress management, and mindfulness.
Kelly Howard, MA, NBC-HWC, RYT-500, COL, USAR, NBHWC Board Member
Kelly Howard is an adjunct professor in the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Health Coaching Program at the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing, a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, and a pioneer in whole health education who spent a decade leading the VA's Whole Health Education program, training over 250,000 staff nationwide. A West Point graduate, she is among the first cohorts of both Certified Duke Integrative Health Coaches and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coaches, and brings additional expertise as a 500-hour registered yoga teacher with certifications in breathwork, mind-body nutrition, and death coaching.
Megan Voss, DNP, APRN, Director of Education
Dr. Megan E. Voss is an Associate Professor and Director of Education at the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing at the University of Minnesota, where she also serves as an adjunct clinical associate professor in the School of Nursing. A board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, she brings specialized clinical expertise in oncology, integrative health, and mental health, with research focused on quality of life and mental illness in individuals living with Fanconi Anemia. She is a recognized leader in integrative nursing and healthcare professional resilience, and a recipient of the Rising Star Award from the University of Minnesota Nursing Alumni Association.
