Bio
Christina's responsibilities include being a first point of contact for students interested in academic courses and degree programs, admissions, course scheduling, registration support for degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students, and faculty support for the Center's academic courses and programs. She is passionate about students and is a first-generation college student herself. Her thesis titled, "The Imposter Phenomenon Among First-Generation Graduate Students: How Does it Impact Women's Mental Health?' showcases her advocacy for student success.
Christina is also the co-chair for the Graduate Program Coordinator Network (GPCN) and is serving a three-year term.
Christina has been a staff member at the University of Minnesota since 2012. Prior to joining the Bakken Center in 2017, she held a position at the Carlson School of Management in the Center for Human Resources and Industrial Relations (CHRLS).
In her free time, Christina enjoys traveling, reading, exploring the city, and gardening. Spark up a conversation with her about any of these topics.
