Bio
Ebony Williams is an Epic Applications Supervisor at Johns Hopkins Health System. She began her career in Health IT space since 2010 and started as a trainer at Mount Sinai Hospital during their initial Epic implementation. She has served in multiple capacities including training, security systems, project management, application build, and management.
In addition to being a supervisor with Johns Hopkins Health System, she also serves as an adjunct faculty member with Johns Hopkins University in the Biomedical Informatics and Data Sciences department.
She is also focused on patient advocacy and how to use technology to communicate with care team members and has collaborated with several departments to implement strategies to better support patients.
She hosts the Thyroid Warrior Podcast in which she shares stories of managing Hashimoto's Disease to offer tools, tips, and strategies to listeners. She is also focused on wellness through her work with aromatherapy, personal training, and nutrition coaching with the community outside of her work at Johns Hopkins.
She is also the chair of the AIPBIPOC nonprofit that focuses on helping BIPOC individuals manage lifestyle changes who have autoimmune conditions.
She is the Chief Health Equity Officer for Clove Health, health communications company for businesses changing the way we think about health & wellness.
Lastly, she is in the final stages of obtaining her doctorate degree in Health Administration with a concentration in Advocacy and Policy.
